David has been a writer and editor at AAA since 2000, working on print projects for the club as well as digital projects since the dawn of AAA’s online presence. But this isn’t his first stint at AAA, as he worked in a branch office for a few summers in the 1980s, drawing up TripTiks and doling out Tourbooks to members for their upcoming road trips. Born and raised in Detroit, David moved to the Tampa Bay area back when “blog” was a misspelled word on a page in his typewriter, and AOL “Free Trial” CDs were displayed on pretty much every store counter in the country.
