In Raleigh, The Casso (above) connects guests to the capital city thanks to the location and the friendly, knowledgeable folks behind the desk. The AAA Three Diamond hotel sits in an ideal location, just a block away from Morgan Street Food Hall, Videri Chocolate Factory and CAM Raleigh. From here it’s an easy walk to the State Capitol complex, the North Carolina Museum of History and the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.

What makes this hotel really shine is inside. From an oversized mural offering a contemporary look at Sir Walter Raleigh (the city’s namesake) to the cozy, stylish rooms, you’ll find The Casso hip and comfortable. In-room workstations give you the chance to get a little done before exploring the city or heading downstairs for a bite. On-site restaurant Good Day Good Night (above) offers a healthy breakfast (with grab-and-go options) and a weekend brunch, plus nightly dinner service, where the blackened pork ribeye and the Instagram-worthy burger will please your palate.

The Casso is pet-friendly (reserve a pooch-friendly room before you arrive) and there are accessible rooms if you or anyone in your party requires accommodation.

If you require a bathtub, inquire about reserving an accessible room. The lobby’s vibrant artwork makes a great backdrop for your social media selfies.
