Led by Executive Chef Kaelhub Cudmore, the culinary team draws inspiration from the lands Rocky Mountaineer travels through. “For many of our guests, time onboard Rocky Mountaineer is a journey of a lifetime,” says Chef Cudmore. “We make sure their dining experience on the train matches those high expectations.” 

Drawing inspiration from the communities the train travels through, Chef Cudmore crafts menus that foster a true connection between where the passengers are and what they see through the train car’s glass domes. Dishes honor each region's rich culinary heritage, local communities and the people who call these places home. The culinary staff works closely with local suppliers and artisans to not only to have the freshest ingredients on board, but also to support those local communities.

On Canadian routes, Rocky Mountaineer offers dishes that are a culinary road map through Western Canada.
