By placing Gateway Canyons in the midst of the Unaweep Canyon, Uncompahgre Plateau, Pinon Mesa and the La Sal Mountains this destination Resort starts off by offering the most incredible vistas and inspiring landscape in Western Colorado.

The Resort sits on 200 acres of plush landscape and offers 72 guest rooms including Casitas, our take on  elevated luxury. By adding the appropriate amenities, such as our Palisade Ranch for horseback riding, and Ranch activities, to incorporating a fleet of Jeep’s and UTV’s we can offer our guests activities to suit them and their families. This combination allows us to create memorable get-a-ways. Located with-in the 200 acres we have both hiking and biking trails available, along with the more traditional Resort amenities such as swimming pools and lawn games. Another necessity of an Award Winning Resort is an on site Spa featuring all of the traditional services with a nice relaxing touch to make you feel at home. 

Located sixty miles from a major city, Gateway Canyons is a true destination and that allows us to highlight the skills of our Culinary Team. Our four (4) onsite eateries allow us to offer something for everyone.  With menu’s that range from traditional American cuisine to dishes that pay homage to the area with locally sourced meats, vegetables and ingredients.
