What’s your idea of the perfect cruise? If you value exceptional service, unmatched comfort and elevated dining experiences all while traveling to the world’s most vibrant and renowned destinations, you’ll find that Oceania Cruises delivers in a way no one else can.

Rather than trying to be everything to everyone, Oceania Cruises focuses on offering the best destinations and in-port activities from a midsize category of cruise ships. The typical guests—well-traveled couples age 50+ looking to fulfill their bucket list adventures—appreciate the high level of onboard service and attention to detail in a setting featuring luxury touches without the high prices that typically accompany them.

A focus on curated travel

When it comes to shore excursions, options abound. Over 3,000 tours and excursions at more than 450 destinations are designed for seasoned travelers seeking a slice of local culture. Choose from a wide variety of tours that focus on the history, cuisine and natural wonders of each destination.

For those who prefer privacy and flexibility, small-group tours called Oceania Exclusive Excursions are available in nearly every port Oceania Cruises visits. By limiting group size to only 10 to 16 guests, these exclusive excursions afford a degree of personalized attention not available in larger outings.

Spotlight: Leisurely Cannes & Grasse Tour. If you’re looking for something with flavor, Culinary Discovery Tours immerse guests in food-focused explorations. You’ll accompany Chef Instructors ashore as they shop for fresh ingredients in local markets, and then you’ll either return to the ship’s Culinary Center to prepare the meal or visit a chef-selected restaurant or private home to experience the authentic regional fare.

Spotlight: The Barcelona Culinary Discovery Tour. Want a taste of Barcelona, Spain? On this chef-led tour, you’ll go to the magnificent La Boqueria marketplace and learn about the different ingredients used in traditional Catalan cuisine. You’ll browse an astonishing array of foods at Santa Caterina Market, followed by a stop at a local restaurant for tapas made with ingredients fresh from the market. Before returning to The Culinary Center on your ship, stop off at the chef’s favorite pastry shop to pick up treats. A sweet excursion, indeed!

Go Local Tours allow small groups to experience the culture of a community on a one-of-a-kind adventure. Explore a destination with fishermen, farmers, artisans, entrepreneurs and other locals.

Spotlight: His Majesty the Truffle Tour. Outside Rome, go on an excursion with a specially trained truffle-hunting dog. You’ll take a leisurely walk through the woods, learn about local truffle species and watch as an expert canine finds the buried treasures. Learn how to carefully excavate the truffles, take them back to a farmhouse restaurant and enjoy a lovely lunch prepared with your prized mushrooms.

A journey that’s as inspiring as the destination

You’d be forgiven if you chose Oceania for nothing more than its award-winning itineraries, but the accolades don’t stop there. On each of Oceania’s ships, guests enjoy a relaxed, informal experience in a cozy, luxurious setting. There’s never a crowd or a line, and the “country club casual” ambiance pairs wonderfully with a setting that feels more like a beautiful residence than a cruise ship.

The ships in Oceania Cruises’ fleet are the perfect size for your perfect adventure—not too big, but not too little. (Goldilocks would approve.) Four Regatta-class vessels cater to no more than 656 guests; two more ships are Oceania-class, serving 1,238 guests and featuring a guest-to-staff ratio of 1.5-to-1. A seventh ship with a capacity of 1,200 is slated to embark on its maiden voyage in 2023.

More than just a tag line, The Finest Cuisine at Sea® represents Oceania’s commitment to culinary excellence. The savory approach started on day one with the appointment of world-renowned master chef Jacques Pépin as culinary executive director and continues today with state-of-the-art galleys and the freshest artisanal ingredients from around the world. Every restaurant on board features open seating for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and guests always dine when they wish and with whom they wish. Each evening meal in The Grand Dining Room features at least six entree items to choose from. Vegan choices are available, and options can be tailored to suit individual dietary needs. Or choose from such specialty restaurants as Toscana for authentic Italian, the Polo Grill for classic steakhouse fare, Red Ginger for bold Asian cuisine or Waves Grill, where you’ll take an alfresco approach. In the mood for French cuisine? Jacques was modeled after a Parisian bistro. Proving Oceania’s commitment to value without compromise, all restaurants on board are complimentary.

Beautiful Aquamar Spa + Vitality Center—the most unique and comprehensive spa and wellness center at sea—is a sanctuary of relaxation. You can also dance the night away to live music, showcase your talent at karaoke night or try your luck at the casino. Shows change each evening and feature favorites that include comedy performances and Broadway-style revues. Want to brush up on the destinations you’re visiting?
